For a holiday to be different from the other, the Garda Trentino offers a perfect combination of sport and wellbeing, fine food, wine and culture, to regenerate body and mind without forgetting the pleasures of relaxation. But the true spectacle is nature itself: the blue of the lake with its long beaches of white pebbles, the green expanses crowned by encircling mountains.
ARCO
Arco lies at a short distance from the northern borders of Lake Garda. It is an historical and cultural centre of great interest, offering above all a renowned tradition of hospitality and tourism. The small town of Arco and its surroundings compete with other holiday resorts not only for the natural privileges of the mildness of its climate and the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation, but also for its unique clear atmosphere which originated its success as a famous natural clinic. Arco is an ecological niche, a romantic refuge and a microcosm of history and culture. Parks and gardens with elegant Liberty-style villas, beautiful Renaissance Palaces and a rich tasty cuisine with light and deliciously robust wines, all contributes to make Arco the cradle of relaxation, sport and enjoyment.
Visiting the castle of Arco, perched on a cliff top, or scaling the walls which have made the area the world capital of free climbing, the view over Lake Garda is breathtaking.
RIVA DEL GARDA
A romantic town, with promenades along the lake shore and through the historical centre, it is also a bustling town, alive with events and opportunities for shopping and open air sports.
TORBOLE SUL GARDA
A mecca for European sailing and windsurfing enthusiasts thanks to the constant Ora and Pelèr winds, Torbole has also inspired great artists and writers such as Lietzmann and Goethe.
TENNO
With its castle and the medieval town of Canale, Tenno is one of the most picturesque places as well as the starting point for unforgettable panoramic excursions.
DRENA
Surrounded by woods which produce the famous sweet chestnuts of Drena, the village is well-known for its medieval castle, part of a history-nature trail which includes the “Marocche” landslide area with its prehistoric finds.
VALLE DI LEDRO
When you reach Valle di Ledro (660 asl), you are surprised by the green of the mountains and the turquoise blue water of the small alpine lake, one of the cleanest of Trentino. It is the ideal place for an open-air holiday, in touch with nature, practising some sports like sailing, mtb, hiking, canyoning, or simply relaxing.
